Although some people claim that you cannot return your product to Walmart without its original box, we found this was incorrect.

Walmart will typically have unique stickers and barcodes that identify the product.

Walmart accepts returns regardless of whether you have the original package or the box. They will only be able to do so if they are able find the appropriate stickers, barcodes and identifiers.

You will likely require a receipt, digital or physical to prove the purchase.

You may also be eligible for store credit if the original packaging/box is still in its original condition. Walmart will scan the barcode on the packaging to determine if it’s valid.

Walmart’s returns policy is flexible, but there are some products that can’t be returned or opened by customers.

It is common for a Walmart refund to take at most a few days after you have returned items.

Walmart refunds can take up to five business days to reach you bank account. They will then be sent to your original card with which you paid for the items.

Your items can be returned by you personally by going to customer service in-store, sending them via postal mail or scheduling pick up at your residence.
